As today marks the day that the Berlin Wall was down longer than it was up, we find this a good moment to head back to the rough city. We think it’s safe to say that Berlin is unlike any other city. It doesn’t really give us that ‘warm’ feeling that we get from Paris or Barcelona nor that busy feeling we get from London. But it’s not all about feelings, it’s more so about the ‘to-do’s’ and in this case ‘where-to-stays’. We head back to our love for Airbnb and have selected the most awesome homes you can rent via Airbnb for the ultimate weekend getaway in Berlin.
Spacious art nouveau apartment in Berlin-Neukölln
Hello, interior goals. We might as well move into this trendy and spacious apartment because this comes pretty close to our dream apartment. It comes with a small balcony, big living room and bedroom for two. Located in the upcoming area of Neukölln, you’ll be close to all the hotspots over here. But we don’t think that staying in would be a problem over here.
Design loft with rooftop & pool
Berlin might be known for its affordable restaurants and places to stay, you can also pay a bit more and get luxury at its best! Turns out quite a few more interior design-lovers live in Berlin because this home is goals part two. But the best is yet to come: a rooftop swimming pool. The German capital just became our summer hotspot.
Welcome to Apartment “Kleinod”!
Hello there, apartment Kleinod. Nice to meet you! You give us the instant feeling as if we’ve walked into an antique store and that’s certainly unique. Also located in the upcoming neighbourhood Neukölln, this apartment looks like the perfect place to discover a few hidden gems. Both inside and outside.
Fully renovated 1-bedroom Loft Space 1 floor
Whenever we come across an Airbnb stay that says ‘loft’ our heart instantly jumps. You just can’t go wrong with a loft. High ceilings, big windows and industrial features. Perfect for Berlin. This loft space is located in the trendy neighbourhood of Kreuzberg so you’ll be within walking distance from all the cool bars and restaurants.
Over the roofs of Berlin with Lift
Just when we thought it doesn’t get better, we come across a loft with a roof terrace. From here you get the ultimate view of cool Berlin. Can you spot the Fernsehturm? This is probably the best apartment to stay during the summer as it’s south-west oriented. That will make us forget about the granny interior of the rest of the apartment.
