Stay of the week: admire the Northern Lights from a glass igloo room in Finland

(Photos via Kakslauttanen)

If the Nothern Lights aren’t enough reason for you to visit Finland perhaps this hotel will be. The Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort is a hotel in the middle of nowhere in the north of Finland. Don’t worry about getting bored here because due to its northern location it’s almost certain you’ll be able to admire the Northern Lights here (this kind of magic). This will be made even easier as guests can stay in glass igloo rooms.

The resort might be located in the middle of nowhere, luckily there’s an international airport just 30-minutes from the hotel. Plus, not far away you’ll find Finland’s largest national park: the Urho Kekkonen National Park. We’re suddenly super excited about winter times coming. Book your stay here.
