Disney breaks up with Netflix and pulls its films from the platform

Please tell us it’s all just a joke, Netflix? We understand that all relationships have their ups and downs but you two were just a match made in heaven. Why?! It looks like good things sometimes really do come to an end. Disney has announced it’s going to pull all of its content from Netflix to start its own streaming service within two years time. That means no more singing along with Frozen, the Jungle Book or going mad with the Johnny Depp in Alice in Wonderland on a hangover Sunday.

Disney is planning on releasing their streaming service in 2019, where all its classics and new films will be available, such as Frozen 2, Toy Story 4 and many other remakes. We can’t wait to have a place where all the Disney magic comes together but this does mean another subscription for us. You can find more information on Disney’s tragic decision to quit Netflix in their interview with NBC.
