Rosé Gin is the perfect drink for long summer nights

(Photos via Wölffer Estate Vineyard)

The never-ending struggle; going out with your friends and not being able to decide if you’re going for a relaxed night out with some yummy rosé or a night of cocktail drinking with Gin & Tonics. Yes, that’s really a (#firstworldproblem) struggle. From now on, that struggle will be far away because rosé gin officially exists. As if this magical alcoholic blend isn’t good enough already the bottle design is just to die for. We’ve got winemaker Wölffer Estate Vineyard to thank for this beautiful piece of pink gin.

Distilled from Wolffer Estate Rose wine to use as the gin base. For the main flavouring, they use Juniper berries picked by hand from the bushes at their beautiful Estate. Fine hints of Anise, Fennel, Coriander, Cumin, and Cardamom are also added, along with fresh Mint from the garden. They distill at a slow pace and use only the purest and best alcohol, discarding the rest. A small amount of grape skin extract creates the beautiful pink colour.” The bottles are sold for $34 and available online. A reasonable price for a piece of (alcoholic) art.
