What an amazing time to be alive. As if we need any more excuses to visit the wonderful city of London, we’ve just come across the amazing news that Portobello Road Gin has opened London’s first Gin Hotel. This city just keeps getting better and better. The boutique hotel offers three suite bedrooms on the top floor, two bars and The Ginstitute in the basement, where you can make your own gin and learn about London’s exciting gin history. After all that gin drinking you can fill your stomach with more solid food at the bar and restaurant GinTonica, where you can enjoy a lovely glass of G&T (of course) and tapas dishes.

If you’re not ready yet to head to bed after all this deliciousness you can relax in the Resting Room on the ground level, where you’ll also find a smart bar. Even worth the visit if it’s just for the amazing interior design. However, it wouldn’t be called a Gin Hotel if you wouldn’t be able to enjoy some gin in your hotel room. The bedroom’s mini bar is well stocked with pre-mixed cocktails or you can get creative and create your own thanks to all the equipment that’s waiting for you on the vintage drinking cabinet. With some good drinks comes some good music. So you can also play your favourite songs with vinyl from Rough Trade. Gin heaven officially exists.

Rooms at The Distillery start at £125 and a three-hour session at The Ginstitute costs £120.
