What better way to celebrate 20 years of Harry Potter than with a real-life Harry Potter restaurant. No, we’re not talking about some restaurant with a bit of Harry Potter decoration, we’re talking about a real Harry Potter restaurant. One from the books. The Covent Garden members’ club The Library is offering a 7 course HP menu every Friday and Saturday night in August and September and every course is as magical as it can get. The fun all starts on Platform 9 ¾ where you can sip real butterbeer or firewhiskey.

After that special start, you’ll be able to enjoy a trio of starter courses: Devil’s Snare (chia seed, seaweed and courgette), ‘Who is Peter Minus’ (lamb, cinnamon and onion crumble) and Twizard Tournament (baby red mullet). Then the main courses follow: the Hatstall (beef fat with bread and chicken liver parfait) and Secret Keeper (smoked Anguilla in kimchi). But be prepared to save some room for dessert: Honeydukes (a white sesame sponge, goat cheese curd, figs and bay leaf ice cream). Don’t forget to bring your best Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin outfit to experience the 7 courses at its best. You can book a table here.
