Who remembers The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks, where he spends his time in a museum looking for clues? That’s the first thing we thought of when we heard about the new Escape Game at the Rijksmuseum. Forget about all the typical escape rooms you’ve visited with your colleagues. This is an escape room you don’t want to miss! In this new game you get to experience the museum on a whole other level and look for the right clues. It’s a mysterious mission through the museum, where the participants are being challenged to secure the secret formula from an ancient book.
Rijksmuseum Escape Game: The Secret Formula
The story starts with a librarian called Bert. It’s beyond closing time when Bert notices he’s not alone when he sees a shadow in the library of the museum. After a pursuit he finds out that the page with a secret formula has disappeared from the 18th-century book written by the Italian magician and alchemist Alessandro Cagliostro. And now it’s time for the participants to make sure this secret formula will stay safe.
Don’t want to miss it? Be fast, because this game is only available during this summer. You can book the Escape Game via this link. There are two versions: one for adults and one for families with children ages 6 and up. It’ll cost €17.77 per group of 2-5 people (excl. museum tickets).
