Forget about ice skating, you can go curling at this winter roof top club in London

London isn’t just the capital of winter because of its gorgeous Christmas decorations but also because they just keep coming up with new fun winter activities in town. One ice skating rink in London isn’t enough so a rooftop ice skating rink opened last year. But there is a limit. Instead, an east London rooftop has introduced a new winter sport in the city: curling. Yep, that hilarious sport you see during the winter Olympics that’s just too funny not to watch. Now you can experience what it’s like to let those weights glide across the ice yourself and we’re surprisingly excited.

The Rooftop Film Club has officially been transformed into a winter wonderland. Here you can find six curling lanes, neon lights and drinks (to make you a bit more comfortable with the new and interesting sport). Remember the popular dining igloos near Tower Bridge? They’re here too so you can admire an even better view from the rooftop inside your warm little igloo, where dinner is served and loads of warm drinks. London earns its role as favourite winter city once again.
