When London restaurant Foxlow went vegan for a month last year, the response was huge – even the most die-hard carnivores went mad for their surprisingly delicious, meat-free dishes. This year, Foxlow are continuing the trend with a special menu for National Vegetarian Week, from 14th – 20th May. Available at all Foxlow sites for lunch and dinner, the new starters include a fresh and summery Carrot Hummus with carrot top pesto and chilli; Kale, avocado, fresh herb and toasted seeds salad and London Feta, fresh pea, courgette & mint salad.

Mains such as Spice-roasted cauliflower, chickpeas, wilted spinach and curried aubergine sauce or Fattoush with fried English haloumi will leave you feeling nicely satisfied rather than stuffed. Or for something devilishly delicious, why not try the Triple chilli cheese sandwich with fries?
The new vegetarian dishes are priced between £6 and £13, with the feta salad and cheese sandwich staying on the menu permanently. Yum!
